da luck: As reported by the Manchester Evening News, Man United could be receiving bids for as many as 10 players during the upcoming transfer window.
10?! That’s nearly a whole team!
With Mourinho’s bloated squad of 27 first team players, some exceptional talent are not getting the first team football you’d expect to see.
A whole host of clubs are supposedly interested in the players, and asÂManchester Evening News reports, it could result in a exodus of sorts as the Man United boss continues his task in reviving the fortunes of the giant Old Trafford side.
The report does however say that Mourinho is only actively looking to sell one player – forgotten midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Who’s set to leave?
Alongside Schweinsteiger, there are a number of other players struggling to force their way into Mourinho’s plans.
Morgan Schneiderlin for example hasn’t started a Premier League game all season. With wingers Memphis Depay and Ashley Young also struggling for game time, there are plenty pickings for a savvy club in January.
TheÂMEN reports that all of these names are amongst those in the eyes of clubs around Europe. They even go so far to say that more regular performers such as Marouane Fellaini and Anthony Martial could be on their way out of the club if the right bid comes in.
It’s unlikely Mourinho will let all 10 in the report leave, but with the misfiring United needing to improve, it could to be an opportunity to reboot their season and free up room to bring in some fresh talent who are ready to push on for a Champions League spot.
