da bet sport: After the best part of a year out on the sidelines, Hector Bellerin is now back and ready to feature for Arsenal.
da brdice: It has been a long few months for the 24-year-old. In January of this year, he ruptured his cruciate ligament, and did not play until he was introduced from the bench against Nottingham Forest last week.
With Ainsley Maitland-Niles taking up the right-back slot in his absence for the most part, Unai Emery will no doubt be happy to see the Spain international return, and he could even feature against Manchester United on Monday in the Premier League.
Bellerin recently did an in-depth interview with Gunners supporter Romesh Ranganathan for The Guardian in which he spoke on a number of different subjects, including Arsenal’s rivalry with Tottenham. He said, “All that stuff about foreign players ruining the beautiful game is pure racism. I used to love Thierry [Henry, who played for Arsenal from 1999 to 2007] and I’ve always loved the kits because I used to play as Arsenal on the PlayStation. So, when I signed for them, I already had a connection. I don’t hate Tottenham because they told me to hate them. I hate them because I love Arsenal.”
